I recently traded or bought into a few 110's and a 112. I decided to send them an a 307 to Buck for the Spa Treatment. I emailed Joe to let him know that some knives were on the way. The turn around time was only a few days! I expected several weeks!
Joe emailed me to let me know that the he inspected the knives and that they were ready to go. He also told me that one of the 110's was a bit of a special or hard to find model!
It is a 2003 model with the date code "T" stamped on the opposite side of the blade! He made mention of one of the engineers marking the blades like that to keep track of something that they were working on. He did not elaborate.
Does anybody know anything about this? Any idea on how many 110's were stamped like this?
I also want to publicly thank Buck Knives and especially Joe Houser for their fantastic customer service! They did an outstanding job on refurbing these knives! They look almost like new and are SHAVING sharp!
