Spa treatment question

Say I buy a used small 31 with no box. (Who doesn’t keep their box?) and I send it in to the factory for spa treatment will they issue a new birth card?

Will they send another box? What happens in cases like this?

Yes, it will be a re-issued card with a guesstimate on the date and a generic box. you may want to request a new card/box

Thank you I have seen a few new knives with old boxes and estimates on new birth cards. They claimed they just came back from spa treatment. I was curious if this was a real thing or if I was getting scammed. Sorry just now into CRK after lurking for many years

Usually it's old knives, new boxes , new Cards with best guess dates, if scales not marked.... Photos please!
