There are examples of blades made from meteor material in Japan as well.

So King Tut was buried with his knives. Definitely sounds like a Knife Knut to me. I can relate.

Gives a whole new meaning to EDC- eternal daily carry.

Hey, maybe you CAN take them with you. At least until someone else digs them up.

😁

Most definitely a knife knut, he had 16 miniature iron blades in his tomb;)

AND it was copied in solid gold (32 oz) by one of America's foremost knifemakers, Buster Warenski...........

Man that's a beauty. Apparently it, along with two other knives made by him sold for 2.1 million making it "the most expensive knife set to ever be sold in the world" according to some site I just looked up. The site definitely was not run by knife people though so I don't know how credible it is.

The three Warenski gold daggers to which you refer were not sold together. I am not sure which article you read, but it's generally believed that the Gem of the Orient sold, by itself, for $2.3 million.
Dang, Yea I kind of thought that it sounded a little low for all three of his gold daggers. I just googled "What is the most valuable knife in the world" and it was one of the first things that came up. But it was one of those cheesy "Top 10" lists so you never know with those.

Now, when I die,
Don't think I'm a nut,
Don't want no fancy funeral,
Just one like ole King Tut
King Tut....
