You know, that funky knife next to the picture of a spaceship that's been on the back of Blade for at least the last couple of issues...

Don't have Blade in front of me, so forgive the vague description. Who's seen, held, or who knows something?

Hi Brandon,

I believe that you are referring to the CAS Iberia Starship.

It has a dual-edged(?) blade and MOP inlays in its blue andonized handle.

The unique thing about the knife (Besides its looks) is the fact it locks in both the open and closed positions.

Here's a link if you want to buy one:

I have one of those. They are unique and make for a nice conversation piece. Also a nice knife to have as part of a collection. Yes, the lock locks the blade in both open and closed positions. The blade itself is dull, very dull, but pointy. It's a dagger.
For my big hands, the knife is a little small. I definitely wouldn't carry it for self defense (it has no practical general utility application that I can think off besides letter opener), due to the lock and the small size.
It comes in a wodden case with a little bottle of oil. Like I said, I'm glad I have one for my collection, but it's not a daily carrier for me.

I very seriously considered buying one at Christmastime, but after talking(on the Forums) to a few people that had them/handled them I decided to purchase something more functional. Just my opinion, though. Sure is cool looking.
