Spalted Black Line Maple #328

This Knife Style #328 is ground from 1/8" thick 01 TOOL STEEL bar stock. The FULL TAPERED TANG knife is 9 1/8" long with a 4 1/4" cutting edge and a FLAT GRIND. At its widest part (at the belly), the blade is 1 ½". The handle is SPALTED BLACK LINE MAPLE. This knife also has a BLACK VULCANIZED SPACER.

Thank you. I got lucky, finding this particular piece of wood. I also tried something just a bit different on the etching and am quite happy with the way it turned out.

I like the way the finish turned out also. It adds a lot to an already very nice knife. The handle has a lot going on and that also compliments the knife.
It just makes me want to whittle on something.
