I found the two flint awls on the same site on the same day. I have always wondered if they were carried by a single person; maybe in a small leather pouch.

This little, spalted maple and copper handled, drop point, is the only knife I have completed this year.

I have been working on machinery and building a new forge.

As of yesterday I am rebuilding my compressor motor:o also.

The blade is a 70 count 1084/15n20 damascus.

It measures 7 1/2" overall.

I'm having an open house, the end of April to celebrate the new forge and ten years of knife making here at Bethel Ridge Forge.

Happy to answer any questions, Fred

Holy cow,Fred!-that spalted maple is something else,I love that it is cross cut. It also seems to mimic the damascus (or vice-versa):thumbup:
