I'm mid 60's and have carried some one hand opening , and assisted opening tacticals for some special use at times. Some very good, but for pure enjoyment and pride, I have a few slip joints that I carry most of the time. An old saying I still remember--"remember yesterday--live today--and plan for tomorrow". I always have good memories of yesterdays carrying my old slippies.

DO IT!! I just recently made the switch to slippies. Left my strider and sebenza in the drawer, slipped my case CV stockman in my pocket, and went about my day..haven't looked back. love the feel of these knives!!
