I have seen and handled mercop's 550 cord wrapping for Beckers.

It ROCKS. It seriously makes an otherwise slippery and too-thick handle very comfortable for both small grips (mine are pretty darn small) and larger grips. They are damn grippy, tightly and professionally woven, with a little bit of give.

Since it's thinner and a lot more textured/tractioned than the original grip, you can get a better handle on it without fear of it slipping.

Highly recommended.

Full disclosure: I do not have one wrapped yet. ;)

I have 2 neckers, one I want scales on and on I'd liked wrapped...
I'd like the middle holes in the handle filled with tinder..and an overwrap of spiderwire ore fusion or dacron or hemp....make a suggestion....and then the paracord wrap....obviously $15 is not going to cover it (no pun intended)....{m looking to maximize cordage and add some tinder....
Thanks,
Steve

The tinder your choice. Then I will wrap in Spyderwire and then againg with hollow 550 and then the wrap. E-mail me and we will set something up. Rethinking due to the weight of the Beckers I may have to go to $20 for a basic job anyway.

Email is what....don't like 'give' at all...Can I send you the tinder, and some accessory cord for the final wrapping..and what size spiderwire for the packing?
Thanks,
Steve

I just sanded my becker slabs and took off 1/8 or so. They feel amazing now and fit like a glove. Unbelievable difference. I'm getting more bk's and I'm pretty bad with cord wrapping so I'll deffinately consider you for the job.

Sorry, but if you want to advertise on Bladeforums you have to get a paying membership and advertise in the exchange section. That's where the money comes from to keep this place going....
