That would be a good idea.
Posting an offer to sell in an Exchange forum would be a good idea, too.
 
In all fairness, sheath makers regularly post in this section to announce when they have a knife on hand to mold kydex, and I've never seen someone call it spam before. With the sheer volume of new Busse models, it's useful information to know who is going to have the new stuff available for sheathmaking.
 
I think it was not being at least a Gold Member that was the main issue.

Yeah, I was just responding to the comment that it belonged in an Exchange forum. Lots of sheath makers would be in trouble if they weren't allowed to post here to tell folks when they temporarily have a knife on hand for kydex bending.
 
Really hate to be a downer but sometimes this place really makes me face palm, and I'm not talking about Oku's "spam".

Edit: Also, since I'm a fan of Oku's work I'd actually really like to know what the announcement was.

When I noticed this thread, I thought that Brian had discovered something that I had long suspected... That Spam lasts longer than kydex, and he had started making high quality sheaths out of the stuff...! :foot:;):D

I joke, but seriously, Brian is definitely a good guy who makes some great kydex sheaths. :thumbup:

A SPAM sheath would come in handy if you were lost with no food:thumbup::thumbup:
 
I've toured the Spam museum and I never once saw Brian there, I think it is HOG trickery. ;)

Really guys this is a non-issue, while I would consider this more of an announcement rather than a for sale ad, he does need to be a paying member to post it. He has been a paying member in the past and I'm sure will be in the future, I suspect his membership has just elapsed.

Esav did what was supposed to be done, so unless you are posting jokes you can just let this thread die.

On a side note, my Gold membership recently expired and I have since renewed...I'm still labeled as a registered user though. I think there's a little lag time occuring.:confused:

You have to go back in and change it back to gold, it's under group memberships.

I propose that Spam have the following added to its label.
