You are correct, that is a very nice design --- and well executed too! Nice work.

spangles!! damn you tim! spell my name wrong one time and i'll never live it down!

thanks guys. i just finished up one like this with a smidgen wider blade with a little more belly up front.... nice little piece.. i really like the simpicity of the handles, makes it very comfortable in the hand... any which way you grab it

thanks again for looking guys!

Very nice! That's only the second knife I see with Pyinma wood.

Beautiful sheaths as well.

Kind regards,

Jos

I have one of these that I got from Mike at Jim Siska's hammer-in several years ago. It has mammoth ivory scales and is a really nice knife.. It carries well and has been used to clean many trout and partridge.

Do you make these in men's sizes, too?

I just can't get excited about blackwood, but the combination of platypus and the antique finish is really nice!

I got the chance to get my hands on these two a couple weeks ago - they'd suit their purpose perfectly, and the feel and finish on both is exceptional.

Those are both really nice, but I am particularly drawn to the wood and blade finish of the second piece. Well done!

Roger

thanks guys.

seems like a lot of people like the antiqued finish. it really holds up to everyday use too.
i have a little kiridashi with that finish and i use it a few times a day, that paired up with the wear from a kydex sheath. There's no visible wear on the finisih though. pretty cool

thanks again guys, except you Matt
