Hey guys check em out.
Here's a couple I'm finishing up.
7 3/4" overall
One is 1095 with hamon and a black wrap over black stingray
The other is S90V with a machine satin and a black wrap over gold stingray

Let me know what you think

I like these ones, though I might have taken the belt finish one grit higher on the bottom one.

gorgeous work...nice lines, simple and no fancy crap it doesnt need...i love knives that are beautiful in their simplicity...its much more difficult to make something without a bunch of gimmicks. Nice work brother

who is this deker guy? and why is he teaching at all of the seminars?
yeah that one could have went a little further, but I was having issues with the S90 not wanting to give up a consistent finish. that's some serious steel man. it looks nice and consistent, better than a fine wavy finish right ; )

i'm going to be messing with this stuff some more, i need to make one of these for myself. i figure S90 is the way to go! seeing as RJ ate up the last of 110V bastid!

I missed that it was S90v. Yeah, take that stuff to the finish you want BEFORE you HT.... :)

I like the gold rayskin personally.

will you be at ashokan this year? i need to go. i can't miss another one. i hardly have time for knife shenanigans. i need some inspiration, and places like ashokan with the group of people that show up are the best inspiration out there

yeah that S90 is a bear. i think i could mess around some more with different belts and get a nice finish, the trizact CF seemed to do a pretty nice job on it

i think the gold looks nice with the black. i have a weird smoky grayish green that i need to try out too
