they also have a black version. liek the 'charming china' and this is what you get if you copy somoen else's design.. people will think you are a cheapie when you could be top notch.

"The butterfly knife is a form of folding pocket knife which has two handles that counter-rotate around the tang. It's a great design because when it's closed, the blade is completely covered. When a well made butterfly knife is open and the two handles are locked together, it is as strong and reliable as a fixed blade knife"

Hmmm. I couldn't have said it better myself.

Seems they've copied more than someone else's design. Well, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

With a 440 blade, these have potential to rise above the average Rostfrei. But, the handle design really resembles those cheapie german ones that keep showing up at auction.

I checked out their price on a stryker, to compare, and it was $109 which isn't that unreasonable(last time I checked). 2d_edge, I dont think you're talking about the same butterfly. It still looks like a cheapie as Gollnick said. Doesn't look like it would hold up.

heh, that china cheapie you speak of at http://www.selfdefenseproducts.com/os.htm was my first butterfly knife I purchased after discovering clay's site. Bought 4 for 40$, made 35$ selling two and reduced the other two to scraps of die cast metal in the monthes that followed. I really wish there was a higher quality knife out there of this style. To bad this "spanish" one isnt it....
