I show a Spanish knife, the brothers R. Nuño.
Engraved with my technique, Florid Victorian style (high relief and bas relief)
In his hands this engraving is very elegant and safe that I must repeat this design on other knives.

Montejano, is this "engraved" and acid etched?? Are both tecniques used?

It looks like a combination of intaglio and bas relief acid etching that is then hand engraved "on" for the detail. Yes??

Very, very nice piece!

Hello

It is the technique of "aqua fortis" (acid etching).
My technique is traditional for centuries, but use a self-taught techniques to increase and some personal variations.

It appreciates the high relief and bas-relief, both with the same technique.
thanks
