Hi, guys

There aren´t too many Busses in my country, but one thing we do surely have is good pork!

Here´s my sweety holding my first Bussé, an NMSFNO, slicing some Iberic ham, in a weeding party

To the rest of you: You know this guy means business about his hams when you see that he has a little cutting stand all cleverly devised and made of nice-looking wood. Sheesh. :D

Currently Spain produces THE most expensive ham in the World, makes Prosciutto taste like Oscar Meyer, I am not kidding!! Like $200 a ham!! Only a handful of resturants in the USA are currently serving it, a few in NYC and some in WDC (obviously with all OUR bailout money floating around down our reps are'nt only including pork in the hte bailout bills!). Sweet NMSFNO on that ham, which combo is that? Looks like green coating with tan micarta?

Una bestia de jamon, tio! That picture brings back lots of memories.
Honey Baked ham looks like Spam compared to that!

Gatman: a lot of people here have a jamonero in our houses, we can be in crisis like all, but food is food...:D

If you don´t have a place to stay yet, last vacation i went to Gaudi hotel(http://www.hotelgaudi.es/esp/index.asp), rigth in front of Gaudi Museum, not expensive at all and the view fron the terrace of the room (3floor) was f** amazing!

And for dinner, Al Passatore (italian food), in the Olympic Port, one of the very best Q/P of the city, trust me

1tracker: urban grey/Tan...and that ham is on the 120$ range ;), not bad not very good either...the best (pata negra iberico de bellota 5 Jotas, for example) goes around 500-700$...and fuses in the mouth...yum!

not for every day, nor every year, sadly...:(

Andalucia, Madrid & Malaga. But the ham brings back memories of my childhood. My dad used to buy this from a local butcher in Miami.
I remember sitting in front of him as he cut up slices for me and my brothers. Delicious! Thank you for the pic....it's been years since I saw jamon like that :thumbup:

I'm not sure whats in there. But I have to admit....I have had my share of spam. However, I don't miss eating it.
