Spanish military bolo

I was told this is a "special forces" knife, but that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. A knowledgeable friend researched it and found "only" 1500 were made. The spine is a rasp. Full convex grind. What to see if anyone wants it as a collectible before I modify it for wood use.

I stand corrected, it is an SF knife for fighting rebels in the mountains of Spain!
