Today at a flea market that’s one of my usual haunts I spotted this, what I think is a real old Navaja, Spain is full of new Navajas & “antique” Navajas that arn’t antique at all but this one I think was for real, don’t think I’ve seen one outside of a museum.
The seller was really cool & let me play with it & didn’t mind me photographing it even though I said I’m not buying it, but have to admit I’m tempted..,,,
It’s been a little over cleaned for my liking but functions as it should, a nice famous ratchet clicking when opened & a working catch, wobbly blade to be expected.
Very “weathered” Bull horn that I think would be difficult to fake..,,

Didn’t think about measuring it but I’d say it’s around 6” closed.
Hope you like it.

Having looked at my photos the one thing that really stands out as questionable is the stamp markings on the bolsters.. the pattern looks a bit too neat, a bit like it could be machine done? Anyone have any opinions?
