I haven't posted for awhile so I thought I would put this one up. It is 19" overall with a forged 1/4" thick 1080 blade with a distal taper. The width of the blade is 1 5/8" and the length is 12 3/4". The fittings are blued mild steel and nickel silver. The customer supplied the amber colored stag handle material. It was too big around so I split and mortised it. The blade features a spanish notch and some filework on the back.

Here are some closeups and different views of the hamon.

Thanks for looking.

Well, the awesome bowie parade continues! This may be my favorite of yours so far Craig - terrific blade profile and generally beautiful lines on this big knife. Then there's the stunning file-worked fittings, the fabulous stag and the hamon eye-candy. I could take or leave the file-work on the spine, but that's strictly a matter of personal preference.

Terrific bowie Craig! You should get a professional shot done of that one.

Ahh, Grasshopper. You have finally snatched the pebble from Master Po's hand. It's now time for you to leave the temple. :)

I personally don't care for file work, but that doesn't mean that I don't find this to be an exceptionally nice knife.

Craig, a very nice piece indeed. The blued hardware against the blade makes a real slick overall look.

Yes, definitely the best blade I've seen from you. Absolutely gorgeous.
