Spanto?

Hey there!
I like Rick Hinderer's folders but it just that the blade is spanto, which I found is really weird. Can Rick himself alter it? Or do I have to go to someone else?

Rick will not regrind it. I'm sure there are others that would but that would void the warranty. I would suggest you sell it if you don't like it and buy a different one

If you don't like the spanto, buy the slicer.

I'm a little confused by your original post.........RHK offers MANY different types of blades......not just the spanto.......
Spanto, Slicer and Wharnie are the production blades......there are more grinds in the custom blades.....
Determine which blade you DO like and find and buy that one......

I didn't mention the wharnie because if he thinks the spanto is "really weird", then the wharnie is super weird. But I want one. An XM-24 wharncliffe. Hoping they'll come out with a production model before I go off the deep end and buy a custom.
