Spark, are the forums having a problem loading?

Donna can load it OK, I cannot, it is a hit and miss thing. I have tried a few times this morning and finally busted through.

Cougar said he had problems yesterday, two friends in Texas, one in California and one in Oregon had problems, it seems sporadic.

I get an Error 500 Unknown Host Message and when I go to the two test links provided, they load perfectly. So it says that the Error is occurring on the webpage I am trying to reach.

I emptied the Temp. Internet Files and removed and re-loaded (3X reboot) AOL TCIP/Adaptor and still...blah blah blah, nothing.

Sometimes I can get through, sometimes no. Sometimes I get to the Forums Summary, sometimes to an actual forum, sometimes to a thread. Very sporadic.

Problem is apparently solved, she is loading like the big, ignorant dog she is.

I dunno what the problem is - we're getting widespread reports of people being unable to find us, but we're still here.

I am no expert, but I suspect some sort of DNS problem. I was unable to get in yesterday until very late in the day. This morning, I had to ask five times (on my ISP, if you ask for the same site five times and five times it faults, the DNS server double-checks its entry with the DNS of another ISP) before I got in.

Curiously, knifeforums.com went through a spat of DNS problems a few months ago.

Same crap, I have to go in through a thread I had saved and then that only works 25% of the time, hence my posting quickly now before it craps out again.

Can you call your Server or something?
