You alluded in another post to thinking about a BFC Lifetime Membership. In light of what just happened to Photopoint.com, what do you have to loose?

I have $100 (3.3333 years worth) of a bet that you (or BFC) will still be here down the road.

Are you ready to sell futures??

Michael

Spark,

You seem to be very selective lately in the posts that you answer. I'm willing to send you money... that you say you need... but yet this post goes unanswered....

If a lifetime membership is too much work for you, maybe you could just list those willing to pay (gamble) the 333% as Gold Members... and then not bill us for renewals. You may not like the idea... but it is a valid request... and should be addressed.

I have $100 with your name (and picture) on it. Please respond!

Thanks,
Michael

I've answered this at least twice now. Maybe if you didn't start 5 threads on the same subject, you'd see the responses I posted elsewhere.

As I said the last few times, we are considering a lifetime membership. At this point, I want to see how many members actually sign up first, before I offer something even more expensive.

Spark,

If you want to be grouchy to someone who is offering you more money than you asked for, that is fine with me.

BUT, Please stick to the truth!

Maybe if you didn't start 5 threads on the same subject, you'd see the responses I posted elsewhere.

It is true that I have offered to support BFC in the past, and have posted such. It is true that I have advocated a level of support/ membership that might only fit 100 people (a measly $10 K to you).

But I can't seem to find "the five threads I have started on the same subject". I have gone back to the most recent time that you introduced the idea of a semi-pay-for-services site and do not find the five threads.

Baseless comments, that are intended to inflame, are unnecessary.

Let's try shooting down people's ideas with out trying to shoot down the people!

Have a nice day!
:)

Here's one post where you asked, and I answered. Can you please do me the courtesy of showing a little patience here? When I said I want to wait before we offer anything like this, I didn't mean wait 1 week, or 1 day.

So, please pardon me if I sound a bit bitchy, but I've already answered this question with you before, and here I am answering it again, and the answer is still the same, but I'm a bit more exasperated now. Be patient. I don't want to take your money right now, then turn around and have to refund it later, and have a bunch of pissed off customers who want their money back at the same time, etc.

Geez.

Kevin

Hey Kevin,

Lifetime membership! What a great idea! Can the fee be pro-rated? What if a 50-year-old and a 25-year-old both sign up for lifetime membership, would they be charged the same amount?

Can you also offer "half-life membership" plans? But what age of death would it be based upon? Would you request their medical records? Would you consult with a fortune-teller to forsee their future? Would the half-life membership apply to the first half or the second half of their life?

And what happens if someone dies prematurely? Do you refund the unused portion to their estate? Hey, this would be a really cool "life insurance policy." There would be incentive for them to die early (or to bump them off to claim the balance of their memebership!).

Spark...I'm just messing with you! Have a good day! :)

I thought asking questions on someone else's thread was different than "start(ing) 5 threads on the same subject".

It is true that I have offered, on other members posts, to kick in $100 to support BFC for well over a year. (Plenty of time for you to think about it... IMHO.)

If posting an idea that I felt was supportive of BFC's cash flow is the same as "starting new threads", then you are correct.

My last post in this thread was a reaction to a statement by you that seemed inaccurate. I am not a computer whiz. I am just a simple carpenter. I truly thought that the "Reply" and "New Thread" buttons were different.

If you mean that I have offered this idea to support BFC over a period of time, I agree.

If you are still saying that I "start(ed) 5 threads on the same subject..." than I will have to respectfully disagree. Or learn to agree that "posts" and "threads" are the same....

You are the computer whiz. Please list the "5 threads on the same subject" (by me), or for once, admit that your post was not truthful. (If you come up with 5 posts that I started on the same subject, my apology will be posted immediately!)

Michael

PS: I'll sign up for the Gold tomorrow if that is all you have to offer, but please don't trash me with inaccuracies for trying to offer a greater level of member support...

C4, you have anything other to do besides busting my balls? Maybe you didn't notice, but I'm more than a bit exasperated right now by the non stop barrage of bullshit that I seem to be getting from every direction.

So, you'll have to pardon me if I exaggerated a little bit. In the meantime, I say again, show some patience and if I feel it's warranted, I will offer lifetime memberships. Until then, I'm not going to. I answered your question the first time. Instead of asking it over and over again, how about respecting my decision?

In the meantime, how about doing me a favor, and instead of needling me, you give me some breathing room? Of all the things I have to deal with, a flame war over something this stupid is not what I need. And maybe, just maybe, in the futuer you'd get a response that suits your wishes if you didn't make harsh insinuations in your posts. You don't see me flying off the handle about your "selective answering" comment, so how about you chill out a little?

I do believe Kevin is in DESPERATE!!!!! need of a vacation.
You need to do like you keep telling everyone else to do. QUIT WHINING AND BITCHING AND PISSING AND MOANING FOR CHRIST SAKE!

I just got off of the phone with Spark and am convinced that some mad hacker is behind a few of his recent posts!!!:)

In person Kevin is a really nice, level headed and, almost, soft spoken kind of guy!! It was well worth the price of my phone call.

End of story.

Signing up to support BFC and the real Kevin Jon Schlossberg....
