Spark, HELP!!!

I received and infraction of 30 earlier today for something that was correct all along. Below is an e-mail I just received from the modd who accidentally infracted me.

Michael,

I don't know how to "take back" an infraction, or if it can even be done. You might want to post at BladeForums "Service & Support" that you want your infraction taken-away, as the owner of BladeForums (Spark) monitors that forum pretty closely. At the time I issued the infraction, under your name, still showed "Registered User".

I need this infraction taken away, I was in the middle of working out a deal to sell a knife when all of this came about in the first place.

you need to be at least a gold member to sell anything here. You do appear to be a plain registered user, so you cannot sell.

I AM a Gold member, infraction was issued inaccurately. Now almost everything is locked and the $25.00 I paid for the gold membership is going towards NOTHING!
 
You are showing as a registered user.

I suggest you CALL Spark tomorrow morning and get this ironed out.

The whole point is that I received the infraction for making a sale post. But if i was only a registered member, wouldn't all those sales forums be locked to me? YES...So I bought the gold membership, everything unlocked, made my post, had potential buyers, and then got shut down. Ridiculous.

No, they are not locked to registered users.

System still shows you a registered user.

If I recall, you can still post for sale threads without being a Gold or above. That doesn't mean it is ok to do so.

Now, you need to calm down, call Spark tomorrow morning, provide him with your order number and invoice number from the online receipt, and he'll get it straightened out.

Once it is straightened out, your thread will be unlocked, the infraction reversed, and you will be able to go about your business.

I'm going to let that insult slide this time, Mikey, but if it happens again, you will receive another infraction.

Now, calm down, call Spark tomorrow, and be patient.
 
There seems to be something strange going on. It's not supposed to be possible to start a thread in that forum without the appropriate membership. You are not showing up as a member. I'm sure Spark can sort it all out tomorrow.

Hm, looks like the subscription went through, but for whatever reason your membership didn't change over. Server hiccup or something. Regardless, you are good to go now, infraction reversed and everything.
