Spark. Need prior membership pro-rated. No credit for previous status?

Odog27 gifted me a membership yesterday. I upgraded today. Why didn’t I get a $10 credit?

I don’t think his gift should be wasted. I think he should get his money back or my bill should only have been $20 (the difference between basic and gold membership).

Please help.

If you check your purchase details you should see that you have more membership duration than what you paid for, it should have pro-rated your prior membership into extending your current membership.

There are no discounts or refunds, only pro-rating what's left monetarily of a membership into the new one's length.
 
That would be fine but my purchase details shows the Basic Membership was purchased yesterday and cancelled today. My Gold shows a purchase today and expiration 1/14/18. No proration. I think the $10 should have added 4 months to the Gold time period (33% of a year)??

Can I get help to extend my Gold year??

Well this is weird. Your gold membership actually shows it expires in 2020
 
Then, to be fair to the Forum, the membership should probably be adjusted back to about May 2019
