Just got the spartan v-14 and prettt happy with it. Significantly larger than the infidel but I expected it to "feel" larger, especially since the handle is not a big one.

Build quality seems very good, as it should be, and it is something that looks very adequately suited for it's designed task.
i dont have any experience with magnacut, and since i'm keeping this one just to be pretty in my collection i will not be using and sharpening it.

Happy to own this spartan blade and curious on any feedback from current owners of the v-14 and/or the infidel

That one is on my short list, but I don't see the need for Magnacut. I get it. Magnacut is an awesome steel. I have a SHF in it, and I am a big fan of how it behaves. However, for a knife designed for defense/sentry neutralization, it seems a bit overkill beyond it just being in the hot new steel.

That said, I certainly don't MIND it in Magnacut :) I'm hoping to snag one for Christmas maybe. I don't really have a need for one, but I have been on a dagger kick as of late.

Super jealous ;)

I think it's mainly that when you're talking bougie luxury products, people will figure that in that price range there's no reason to compromise on materials.

Oh i get that. No doubt. It's not like these are going to get used for their designed purpose much ;) I guess being super rust resistant isn't bad thing when in comes to that:P

I just ordered mine today for Christmas. I ordered the same colors as OP. at least I hope so! The only color other than black for the handle was OD. I wanted FDE, so that it would go with my pistols (SIG P220 ELITE FDE 10mm and P227 FDE in 45acp), Beretta fde 1301-tactical-mod2-standard.
Looks great OP!

Oh, I forgot to mention that I also ordered the leather sheath for it. I've got a thing for knives and leather!
