Here's my latest. I wanted a short sword and missed out on the Coustille from MR so I ordered a Lakonian instead. Got it sharpened from Swords of Honor.
Pretty neat, and I def like the style. Very stubby with a broad, wasp waisted blade. Bronze hilt is substantial and seems fairly comfortable. The edge they put on seems decent. I'll probably convex it eventually but this will save a lot of work from starting with an unedged version.
The sheath is solid but unexciting.Its covered in a shiny brown leather. Not even sure its really leather honestly. It has the look of the Hide of the Naga. The "leather" tucks into the top of the scabbard too. The top of the scabbard is cut relatively flat too whereas the guard curves so the two don't match.
Still, a neat little blade. Hopefully will lop up some pumpkins and milk jugs this weekend.
