Does any one have the new Spartan with the CTS BD1? are the spec the exact same as the Aus8 version? except for the steel of course. if one had a custom Aus8 version could one switch out the blade with the new version with no ill affect?
 
They're identical in every aspect except the type of steel used. But if you purchase a new bd-1 model why would you want to swap the blade into and old handle?
 
I have custom scales for the Aus 8 version so I am thinking I will get the BD1 version and just put the custom scales with the new steel
