Speaking about Dogs in trouble I think my Pug is depressed

Here he is obsessing about the snow. He just about drove us nuts last night ...staring out the slider barking at the falling snow..then wimpering and trying to hide under the couch ( which he does not fit under) I admit when you weigh 37lbs and are as wide as you are tall and your belly clears the ground by 2" I would be worried about a foot of snow...but he seems so down lately...

what if you got him stilts?

some love and attention should cheer him right up!

maybe with a treat or two:thumbup: low fat of course:o

Your pug is down & depressed 'cause he finally looked in a mirror and discovered that he isn't a cat, afterall.:D.:D.
 
Of course he's depressed! He has the misfortune of having you as an owner. :jerkit: :p

Even happy pugs look depressed.
 
Ren, funny you mention your pug barking at the snow...my little guy was doing that yesterday and I couldn't figure out what he was barking at. He is a really small 10lb poodle and I went out last night and was snow blowing the back yard so he had a place to dump without freezing is ding-a-ling off. The neighbors were openly laughing at me. Winter is depressing...

By the looks I get from my neighbors, I thought I was the only one who did that! The dogs appreciate though.
 
Let him hang out with a bassett hound some time. He'll feel a lot better about himself after he sees real doggie depression.

And remember, it's easier to deal with a depressed dog than a bipolar dog.

He does look sad in those pictures though...poor guy.
 
He's depressed because he ain't gettin' any, and it is too damn cold to troll the neighborhood looking for some!

I like Pugs. I realy do.

But, do you think that the reason that he is depressed is that he looked into a mirror and realized that his face looks like Madeline Albright's?

Hell's Bells, that would depress anyone.
