I have a model that is not in the current lineup. I have it recorded as a Fox (4th one down) but
I'm not sure that is correct. It has a 2 3/8" blade.Shorter than the Hawk.

What say you?

Al Mar: AUS-8 steel blade

Eagle Classic Talon - Black Micarta - 4"
Eagle Classic - Cocobolo - 4"
Pre-Ultralite - 2.93 "
Fox? - Black Micarta - 2.375" (this one is smaller than the Hawk)
Osprey - Black Micarta - 1.65"
Osprey - Stag - 1.65"

This is the other 2 sizes in the current models:
Falcon - 3.15"
Hawk - 2.5"

Hello thats NOT a fox.. AL MAR made the Eagle, Falcon, Hawk, & Osprey -- SIZES Eagle is the largest and Osprey is the smallest.

The knife u call a FOX is actually pretty rare.. Its the mid 80s SEKI JAPAN stamp with GREEN MICART and its a TALON blade Hawk.. Very nice!! Hard to find!

Here is a info sheet on your models (this is a vintage info sheet thanks to Scott Moore)14a_talon.jpg14b_talon.jpg

Also, I am not 100% sure, but i think some of the NEWER MOKI hawks/falcon may be a tad bigger than the 80-90s al mars.. not sure but they are all great quality!

That shadow Falcon is fantastic. Actually all are great; this Al Mar series is one of my favorite ever patterns. It is an awful shame that I don't have any of them any more.
