does anyone know how to remove the pivots with that microtech-like 5-hole design? I want to replace the handle scales on one and I can't figure out how? thanks for any assistance!

Maybe the Böker takedown tools work? You can always take a piece of duct tape or packing tape and press it onto the pivot, then turn while pushing down. These pivots can't be too tight, and that method has worked surprisingly well for me (usually enough to take apart a screw back watch).

i use a paper clip bent into a "U" shape and my leatherman lol... crude but works and doesnt mar anything up
