Spear Cutlery Company in Germany 1907-1915?

Good afternoon everyone. I came across an old Spear Cutlery Co, Germany folding knife with wooden handles last week in an antique store and paid about $20 for it. My problem is that I can't find a lick of infornation on the Spear cutlery company anywhere or that it even existed at all. I saw on one other post about how it may have only been open from 1907 to 1915 but that's it. Can anyone point me in a direction where I can find any data, values, etc on this company? I'm really trying to post pics of the knife but can't seem to get any loaded yet, sorry.
