Here's one I just finished. It was supposed to be a single edge dagger for a customer but he thought the blade was too wide. Then he suggested that the blade looked like a California gold rush era bowie so I finished it like a bowie and here it is. I like the way it turned out. The blade is just over 10", 5160, cocobolo and mild steel fittings. It's the first of it's kind I've ever made. Let me know what you think. Thanks for looking.

Keeps the claim jumpers away. There are what, 10, 20, clip blade Bowies made to each spear point. I like the "soft" coffin grip too.

There I was scrolling down , enjoying the great knife pice Ray, when the thought of Dr. Mudds giblets quivering made me throw up in my mouth a little bit. I love the knife still.

Great looking knife Ray  Very nice flow to this one, nice lines !! Big knives are just so darn fun to make and even better to hold aren't they Ray ;)

I like it a lot Ray... looks like quite a 'sticker' if you ask me. Wonder what the hogs would think if they saw a person w/that in their hand... :( :D
