Here is one I just finished out of 5/16" 1075. Blade is 9" x 2"+ overall is 14". Hamon has alot of subtle variations that are really hard to capture in a photo. Lots of "ghost lines" wootzy lookin stuff etc...

Sharp clip, black cord wrap, a fun knife to make-

I'd sure love to watch you forge and heat-treat. That is AWESOME!!!

Double thumbs up buddy  :D

It's all Lamey, with a whole lot of Fikes (in a healthy way)!

Can I contact you offline for a Lamey interpretation of a Cabin Boy?

John

Nick if you ever want to spend some time down South, come on down!
John, sure you can contact me, i may be making a batch of small knives soon.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. That really does it for me, I love Hamons and that is a sweet Hamon. Great job.

thanks fellas, it was really a fun knife to make, everything flowed and came together with no real effort.

Hi Hans... your paying for the fact that it "flowed" without effort, thats always extra $$:D

Ohhhhhhh....dat's nasty!!!!:D  You MUST make a fancy version of that design at some point with some kind of way-too-expensive burly wood:cool:
