Spearfishing abalone diving video from last weeks campout

those look like what we called blue bass--wondering? great experience for a child-- thanks for the adventure. at least you know it's fresh.

My dad dove for Abalone off Cali. in the 50s wearing the old diving gear with the big helmet,& my mom told me I used to teeth on pieces of them.
 
Thanks all. I spent the week taken 1st time divers out so I didnt get to do much spearing let alone filming. I was able to film a few people getting there first abalone, one guy spearing his first fish, and one lady swimming in the ocean for the first time. Most of the peole in the video had never been free diving. One hadn't been in 40 years.

The fish were black and blue rock fish. In the scene were I shoot the first fish, right before the camera turns away because somehow my safety got pushed on, you can see 2 blue rockfish. The one I shot was a black. The blues look more like small mouth bass, in shape and color pattern, were the blacks look like large mouths.
