I got this in the mail this morning. First time I've had one here for this.

I can hardly keep up with all the models Kershaw has come up with as of late. Here we have their proprietary lock mechanism. Not sure what that is called. I'll have to look.

This one is yet another sent to me for a clip flip to right hand tip up carry. I am going to study this one for a few and see what I can come up with for the owner to set up a new standard style tip up carry set up.

Stay tuned.

I think they call that one the Stub lock.. It looks interesting but it just doesn't seem strong or reliable to me, but then again I've never handles one so I can't really say.

Thanks I.V.

Well turns out I did have a clip that worked nicely for you James. I searched through my stash and found one very adequate. It even says Kershaw on it!

This works well, and all I had to do to sit it on there nicely was carve a nicer flat spot for it to sit on like the one did for tip down carry. Worked well.

Not sure what this clip is off of. Looks like maybe a Scallion or Chive I suspect but its a Spec Bump clip now. This is a clip I had nothing in so it will be a minimum $ investment for you. Look for it to go out in the mail here today. You should get an email with tracking unless I don't have your email to provide the USPS when I print the label.

Thanks and I hope you like it.

It's off a Centofane (sp?) P.S. lovin your forum. I love working on my own knives and seeing what you do next. Keep up the great work! Walter

Thanks Walter. I am having the time of my life here! I hope it shows and that people keep coming back for more. Feel free to hang out as long as you need to to get your fill. I get a lot of various jobs and ones I find interesting I'll be posting regularly.

Thanks Steve, What you're doing is just my cup of tea! I be hanging around for sure!

STR, you should post a pic of the conversion in one of the Lefty threads in the Kershaw forum.

The stud lock is great since it is truly ambidextrous. Your lefty clip option resolves the only real lefty objection to the Spec Bump.
