OK I got a Scrapper 6 in a trade. It came with a really cool sheath. It is not a Spec op sheath, but looks a lot like it. My question is, what is the pouch on the front for? The one on this sheath is 6 inches deep. I put one my multi tools in it and the sheath swallowed it. So what is it that you guys use in these sheaths?

Thanks,
John

well you can put anything in it. if your going to go camping i would sugest a sharpening stone or something in that manner. i dont have one but if i did, i would put a fire steel, the smallest sharpening "thing" you have, band aids, some kind of antiseptic, and a fishing kit (hooks, line, etc.) Im just really into making survival kits so thats what i would put in mine.

I own 2ea. spec-ops sheaths ,1ea. large up to 8"blade for my BK7 & 1ea.short blade 6" for my BF NWA knife,just a large pocket for a PSK.

I carry a mini med-kit in the front pouch of my Hell razor.Suture kit, trauma patch,gause,band-aids and a small tube of antiseptic cream.
In my S1's sheath i carry a multi tool, lighter, can opener. The hell Razor sheath is a long model and the S1's is the shorter of the 2.

In the first one i carry my firestarting tools and second has some cord and a Leatherman

patknives sheath pictured is the combat model, the survival sheaths by spec-ops has been discontinued...I am gonna start shopping for a couple more of each for other blades..

I am wondering what knife is in the sheath? I am tracking the sheath is a spec-ops brand sheath, just curious about the knife it looks good.

The Black rod with a black handle thats a fire steel, there kind of like magneseium sparkers.

The fifth item from left is a magnesium fire starter. The main block is magnesium and there is a fire steel inlet in the side. You shave some magnesium filings and then strike the steel side to shower sparks onto the magnesium.

The British in WWII could tell whether a plane shot down over England was German or British. I forget which was which but one country used more magnesium and the other used more aluminum and the magnesium would burn with a hotter, whiter light.

Thanks guys for all the info. I am getting together a PSK to put in the pouch. Once I get it finishd I will post some pics.

Thanks again,
John
