Spec-Ops Combat Master 8" sheath

I am going to purchase a Spec-Ops 8" Combat Master sheath for my Boker Plus Vox Rold but before I do I want to study the sheath a little and get some reviews.

Have you heard or seen or used this sheath and if so what do you feel about it?

I will be ordering one on this coming Tuesday so please answer before then.

I've got several Spec Ops sheaths and never been disappointed with them. The fit and finish have always been good.

That being said, make sure you get the sheath that fits closest to the specs of your knife. Most complaints I have heard have been because they didn't get the sheath that had the best fit for the knife in question.

After the fact...but their customer service is pretty good. I called asking about possible fit issues with a knife I had ordered (wondering if the knife would fit in the sheath). The person I spoke with was very helpful. Even went as far has talking about slightly reshaping the liner if I needed to. She said they guaranteed the sheaths so if there were any issues. they would do whatever was needed to resolve the situation. I have a handful of their sheaths and have been happy with all of them. Ordered a new one last night. Mike
 
Just received my sheath and it is nice but the snap on the handle strap is broken so I have to send it back.

I will post review in a few weeks after all this is figured out.
 
That is unusual! Please do let us know how it works out.
 
After writing a letter to the company since the little girl on the customer service line did not understand what I was wanting I decided to return the product and just wait until I fine one in person that I can hold. I love ordering online but you cant hold the product before ordering and are at the mercy of luck.

When I buy a new one I will share here. I know they make a great product but I got a bod one which is rare I am sure.
 
If its just a bad snap that is easily replaced.
 
I was not home but one of the managers at Spec-Op called my house to see what they could do to fix the problem.

I just read an email and they said they are sending me one to my house. Awesome Opossum!

And this is why you do not buy Chines products. First the phone bill would be too much for them to personally call me and then chances are I probable could not understand them.

Its been a bad week, first a product I was excited about to receive was defective and then I bought a fake Spyderco. Then I quit my job only to replace it with one that pays more but I have to work 6 12 hour days, I guess that's a good thing.

But now I am happy because somebody out there is nice enough to prove to me that they want my business and are willing to earn it.

I am writing my Congressman, this stuff needs noted.
