Got this for a Bark River North Star and it really doesn't fit it. Hoping to remove the kydex insert and form it the North Star. Description that came on the tag says insert is removable for cleaning. Its seems to be in there pretty good and I am not gonna force it out until I know for sure it actually can be removed and if so how. Any info would be great this is my first spec ops product so my experience with them is limited. Construction of the sheath is great but appears would really only fit a big honking 4inch blade knife :) thanks in advance
 
On the MINI the liner is held in with Velcro that is on the back of the liner. Slip a butter knife or some other dull item between the back of the liner and the body of the sheath to release the Velcro and you should be able to slide the liner out. It took me about an hour to figure this out on mine

well made sheath helps if you are handy with kydex. I am a novice but made a replacement liner for the bark river works great and besides I can make other liners for other knives if needs be. I am happy :)
