I received my Spec-Ops Combat Master sheath today. The thumb ramp on my blade was getting caught on the insert so I emailed Spec-Ops and asked what the best method of modifying the insert would be. I expected to hear back in a couple of days and decided to give it a try myself. I did a good and it fits perfectly. I get back online and found this email waiting for me.

"Ok. Send me a picture of your knife alongside of the sheath insert.

I just need to verify that your BKT is the same one that we have here in our R&D department.

Once I confirm that this is the case I will build you a liner to fit your knife and send it to you at no charge.

Do you recall when you purchased this sheath? That will help me determine whether you have the new style or the old-style version.

Shoot that picture over to me and we'll get you taken care of right away.

We sure appreciate customers like you and want to make sure you're pleased with our products.

Sincerely ,

Jeff

Wow!!! Not only do they make great products, they take care of their customers too. I was impressed and wanted to share my experience with Spec-Ops.

That's very cool!
They make a great product.
Nice to know that they're gonna take care of you like that!
Good customer service goes a long way in my book.

You've been at this for a long time Guyon. Thanks for the great info!!!

Now that is excellent customer service. I like the look of their sheaths and I recently purchased a nylon belt of theirs. Now I'm even more glad I chose them instead of saving $4 on the Chinese equivalent.

Great customer service seems like it gets harder & harder to find. One of the things that sold me on Beckers is the fact that I can get on here with a question & Mr. Becker will personally answer it. Seriously, how freaking awesome is that? I like to give my business to folks that do things the right way.
