spec ops sheath question

Sorry this is not an interesting thread but I was curious as to whether or not a long spec ops sheath would hold a Mr. Mojo 81/2" blade. I did a search but came up short. Appreciate any info. I am getting ready to build my own sheath but thought I would get a spec ops in the meantime...if it fits

Not likely...the sheath may be to narrow for such a wide blade. Also might be to long even with the screw out. You should check out Dan for a nylon sheath...they Rock and the price is only slightly higher than the Spec Ops.

no, even the large spec ops will be too short. and you would have to mold the kydex insert a bit to get the width correct.
