I was just informed by a friend of mine who sells Spec Ops sheaths that the prices are going up in the next week or so (they are already up at some places). The Combat Master will go from $32 up to $44. There are still places that have them at the old prices, so get 'em while you can!

Glad I bought mine already. I also heard that the Survival model is being discontinued. Anyone know if this is true?

Still a pretty good deal. I really like the 2 I've got (one combat master and one survival, both large). I just wish they came in bigger sizes, like 9" or 10"

Edit: I also wish they were a bit wider. I had to cut open the kydex liner along the entire length of the sheath (spine side of course) to fit my HOGFSH.

Same here. And I'm just sat looking at mine thinking of doing exactly the same for my HH. I just can't quite get it to fit otherwise.

I'm glad I've got a few more on the way at the old prices.

The survival model is discontinued,I have 3 and I just picked up a Combat version Tan short model for $10 and that included shipping...a guy made me a great deal on it..and I asked how much he wanted for it,he replied $10shipped...I almost fell over,I asked if he had more ,o' course sold out. LOL ( I own 2 long version tan survival,1 short Green survival ,1 tan combat short ).

I just grabbed a short in tan and a BDU belt from mymindisamob, they are both pretty nice if you ask me. They are still a pretty good value even if they do raise them that high.

Yes. A Spec-Ops dealer told me this. Also the kydex liner no long protrudes above the nylon on the new sheaths. A Spec-Ops rep told me that kydex is IR reflective, and they have reduced the length of the inserts for the sake of soldiers using the sheaths. As for Busses, however, that protrusion is useful for seating the talon hole/guard.
