Since Eagle is no longer producing sheaths for Rat Cutlery and the RC-5, I've been looking at alternatives since I love canvas sheaths. I recently found an interesting one on Fleabay.

The seller on fleabay has some Spec-Ops Combat Masters, but they also have one named the Navigator also by Spec-Ops in several different colors and sizes. I've never seen a Navigator before and ordered a couple. They are pretty slick, but they are no longer made or listed by Spec-Ops on their website.

The Navigator is identical to the Combat Master with one exception, it has a Spec-Ops Light Sheath Deluxe attached to it in place of the Combat Masters pouch. The Light Sheath Deluxe pouch is larger than the pouch on the Combat Master. It would be perfect for a small E&E kit.

I just thought I would let folks know about this in case they are looking for a nice canvas sheath by a good quality maker. I won't post links to the actual auctions for fear of another auction spotting infraction, so the sellers name is cirrx-emgear. You should be able to find the auctions by searching that sellers auctions.

They are selling both the Combat Master & the Navigator sheaths in several different colors and sizes (both 8" & 6"). The price is a reasonable 27.50 plus shipping (they combine shipping on auctions, buy as many as you want and only pay 5.00 total shipping).

Hope someone finds this useful. (no, I am not in any way affiliated with this fleabay seller, just a happy customer).

Regards, Les.

nice havn't seen that one before its a shame they stopped making the Survival Sheath though that one rocked

relentlessknives also have a spec ops sheath called the X2MS MAG Sheath looks like a spec ops with a rifle mag pouch on the front

the navigator replaced the survival sheath due to the expense of the expandable pouch material cost kept rising on them... so they discontinued the survival sheath.

Any for the RC4?

The short Combat Master is a good fit for the RC5. We tried a while back to get Spec Ops to do sheaths for us but they are swamped and couldn't take new customers. But they make a great product. Eagle does/did too and our issues with Eagle were never with quality. But stay tuned because We do have the RC5 sheath in the process of being made again by another company. It will have a solid, injection molded liner that can be easily removed for cleaning with one screw. And we have added a large cover over the accessory pocket. Should be available in the next 6 weeks or so. Mike
