Spec Ops Survival sheath

I don't think the m6 will fit in the short version; the long may work out nicely. I got a buy brown kydex sheath for about $6 more than a spec-ops and that was money well spent.

The M6 fits great in all the small size Spec-ops sheaths.

Does anyone know how this sheath compares with the one sold by Scrapyard for their 6" blades? I ordered one and it's a bit less expensive, but this does look nice a nice fitting sheath for the M6. Haven't received my sheath yet–it's in the mail.

Well I tried the Scrapyard sheath for my M6, and it really doesn't cut it. The sheath's OK, but it's too loose a fit. I'll be ordering one of these Spec.-ops ones now. Thanks for the photos and info silverbullets.

I bought one of the Dogfather sheaths for a large bowie. Was not super impressed with it. it is a loose fit (the knife is actally same thickness as the dogfather, but a tiny bit shorter). the sheath began to fray at the lower corner without ever carrying it anywhere or using it......go figure. I dabbed some super glue on the spot.

I would have just sent it back , but the shipping they charged was 10 bucks to send it to me. by the time I sent it back and the shipping would have been as much as the sheath. I should have paid more and gotten a Buy Brown or something.

I just got my Spec Ops and it fits like a glove, absolutely perfect. No rattle at all, it is like it was made for the M6, I highly recomend it.

Yup, $18 or so for the sheath and $10 or so to ship. Never again.
I got one of those "standard" sheaths with my Ranger blade, other than something to store the blade in it really doesn't have much use. When you turn the sheath upside down the blade slips right out, there is rattle etc. It is better than nothing and I didn't pay for it so I shouldn't complain but it is worth every penny I spent on my spec ops

The Scrapyard sheath is certainly better than nothing, and for the Scrapper 6 it's probably half decent, but not for the M6. So now I'm paying twice and getting a Spec.-ops from Lighthound. Live and learn (though it seems I've learned this lesson before)!

Jimmy, I've looked online at the small Spec.-Ops. sheath and the ads say it fits knives up to 5.5". With the M6's 6" blade, is the tip coming into contact rith the nylon bottom of the sheath or any rivets, gromlets, etc?

It looks like a great sheath for an outdoor style knife.

Thanks,

Bill

No, it fits perfectly, no rattle, snug as a bug in the rug so to speak. I love it

Just ordered the Combat Master sheath as shown above from Brigade Quartermasters.

Thanks again Jimmy.
