great knife for a great price. really well thought out knife design.....but sheath is a really bad design.

really hard to put the knife back in while on your belt. sheath bends to ones waist and double straps have to be held out of place while wrestling the knife back in the sheath.

ontario is making some really great and impressive affordable priced american made knives...but the sheath of the last couple ive bought have been really poorly thought out and almost unusable.

id prefer to pay more and get better sheaths and good sharpened edges that arent so obtuse and irregular.

I agree, my edge took some serious thinning. Overall a good knife .

I got the 7" "machete" one, it works pretty good, for a non "knifey" look where the lib tourists call 911 when ever they see a hilt on the belt which is odd because its a carry conceal state I live in, and works great for doing knife things and chisely things as well. Batons pretty goodly to.

see the persianish combat is out now. looks like the same awful sheath design though. sure dislike having sheaths made.....but want that version and cant stand the factory sheath.
