Yeah, the Gen 2 got/gets the spa treatment... I do believe that some of that has transferred to the standard SP line. I believe the sharpening has improved on the standard SP series, and of course they now laser engrave the info on them as well. Good stuff all around

Great read, thank you. I don't have the models in the attached thread but I recently acquired the SP5 and really enjoy it. It's nimble for a large blade and the handle is comfortable.
