A knife dealer at a show this weekend showed me a 110 with the same charcoal-colored handle wood and round centennial medallion as on the Centennial 2 110 model. The difference was that this knife was not serialized and had a BG-42 blade (so marked) in normal satin finish; not the high polish blade of the Centennial 2. In addition, the dealer pointed out the "Buck" blade stamp which was in old English style script rather than the normal block letters. He said that these were made at the beginning of the year in very limited numbers and are pretty rare.
Does anyone have information on these and possibly where they may be available? The one the dealer had was obtained from another customer and was not in completely mint condition. He wanted more for it than the Centennial 2 that he also had at the table.

Off the top of my head it sounds like one that may have been sent in for a blade change. Although i do not specifically remember doing this on a centennial 110 it is possible. I will see if i can find out any more info on the knife.
Take care,
