Special 50 year 110 ???

I hope! I have 5 110's now, 2 customs, 1 Nickel silver Web Special and 2 Basic 110's with Brass bolsters.

I just hope if they do it is unique but priced for all.
 
Wheres yhat guy they used to call 110 dave or Buck 110???

He should know the latest rumerz about the 110s.

Wow...that *would* be nice, wouldn't it? Not S30, or the 154 variants, we can find those. Not D2, those are almost in the MAIL!!!!!!!!!!!Not 420, that's too everyday for a 50th. 440C, the original, yeah, that'll do it.

Really? Where? Did I miss something??? Can someone mail one to me? With regards to 440c, that would be great; a great tribute to the knife that changed pocket knives forever.

They're specials made exclusively for BCCI members and only available through the club.

I like the 440C Idea, it is only fitting since that is what the 110 started with. I will say it out load that one of the sharpest knives I had was made with 440C.
 
Oh, OK, I found the club... wow, that is a nice looking 110. Thanks for the heads-up... looks like a club worth joining! The blue scales would be a winner with my boy; he's already got my custom 110 coming to him.
 
It would be soooooo cool if they's make us a 440c bladed 110 with black micarta handles,ohhhhhhh yeahhhhh!

I is right here,, at the show ,,,, naw not a word on the next years knife..
least none I can say a thing or two about ...
but I tells ya all ... don't expect a copy of the 64 model
what all youal can expect is some thing nice in a custom or Limited Edition
don't be surprised if there is gold plate art work on the blade
same as don't be surprised if it has s30v blade
which also don't be surprised if there is a medal in the handle of some kind
now all youal did not hear it from me if any o this come to pass ..
course I don't know a thing and if'n any o youal say I does..
well ya is a lyeing like a fat dog in the shade!
 
I didn't read post #16. I wasn't here. I did print it out but ate it right away. No evidence now. Nothing to see hear. Only wonder...

Well, I have kind of a bomb shell. I really don't want to announce it, since I want one of what I am about to announce. At the BCCI meeting it was announced that Buck it going to make a special set of 110's. 4 of them, representing parts of the past, 3 knives named after the street where the factory was, each one representing that period of time. I remember one of them being Federal Street. Then they will make a fourth knife representing what the 110 will look like in the future.

The kicker is they will make 500 of each knife and the first 110 will be made into a set of 4, numbered 1 to 110. You can still buy all 4 after that, but it won't be a matching numbered set. I would say, the group at the meeting were somewhat shocked. I know I was. Buck did say one set will be given to BCCI so they can raffle it off, so that leaves 109 sets AND I want one. So, my guess is they will be rather limited in supply. I almost wanted to raise my hand and say, why not limit them to 1100 sets, not 110 sets. I think they should be available early next year.

I know we all collect different Buck knives, but lets face it, most of us have a few of the 110's, no matter what we collect. It is such a icon of Buck. They also announced there will be more special 110's next year.

cab-bells .,. pass pros ... other major retailers !!
and we will have to contact the major retailers to get one
prices on these are a climeing up ... and they want the knives distrutbited
world wide ...
ya we might get to bids on one set for the club to auction
hee hee the one will kinda sorta look like a 64 knife but inside it will be modern
one will have gold etch of al buck ...
one will likely resemble a non 110 knife..
and the 5th might be an assisted opening 110
or can any one say switch blade type?
but ... who knows
they will be adding a lot of new stuff ds

This is big news. I wants a few of them as is slimmed down and stiyled ta look like ta old models!!!!!

Who does we has ta kill to gets us one?
