Dear Members,

Due to Laws currently in force in the State of New York Emerson Knives will no longer ship or sell knives to individuals who are residents of New York State.

Best Regards,

Ernest R. Emerson

As a NYS resident, I am dismayed at this turn of events.
But i do understand that you must protect your business and livelihood.
Perhaps when more manufacturers and vendors boycott the territory, someone will make the effort to put this Punk District Attorney in his place.

I wholeheartedly urge everyone to support Kniferights and ATKI in their efforts to put a halt to this affront to our right to own knives. Let your wallet and your words speak as loudly and clearly as possible.

Dear Members,

We will update you about the New York Blade Show as the information becomes available.

For anyone who cherishes individual liberty, NY is the worst state. It is a miserable place to live, unless you work on Wall Street.

What is the situation up there. I do not know what happened. Are they saying you cannot own a knife at all or what. I understand the openess of this site to the public so I will refrain as to what I would do if I lived up there.

If you just cannot order a knife off of the net I do not understand. Maybe it says all that somewhere on this forum I will do a search. I am very bad at reading one reply on a post then going to quick reply. I will read. Like I said I sure wished I could tell what I think of this. All I can say if it smells like cr--, looks like cr-- it must be c---. That is what I think it is.

HHMMM I am seriously just going to sharpen a stick and make that part of my edc so they can ban trees next and log the earth bare. Or maybe I will carry a big rock to bash someone's head in so all rocks will be illegal. Then, I am going to bite someone so I can have my teeth lawfully ordered to be removed. Then I am going to punch someone, so the state will have to break or remove my hands.
I could go on and on, but eventually I will just end up a flesh paperweight. Wouldn't it be funny if that DA got mugged and killed his attacker with a gravity knife? Oh, delicious irony.

DA probably thinks a gravity knife is one you drop straight to the griound to use. Moron.

"I can't cut anything while it is one the way down. There must be a trick to it", said the DA. Three hours later he/she realizes that not only can he/she not cut with a knife falling to the ground, but that he/she was trying to use a spoon.

I wonder, if I think about law being simpler, would the government magically make simpler and less litigious laws? Could lawmaking be like the Microsoft commercials with plugging Windows 7. I am seriously about to take a shower and plan to have my simpler law epiphany, so I hope lawmakers have their esp on. Hopefully by the time I get out Federal and State will have come out with Laws 7, simpler and without BS laws.
