hello, about this time last year i purchased 2 SOG knives off 2 diffrent sellers on ebay... the knives were a Tech-Bowie w/ a tiger stripe pattern ( black TiNi + bead blasted grey stripes) and Tsunami Tanto w/ a satin finish and no hilt. Both knives brandish the SOG logos, both came with a SOG sheath ( bowie-kydex and tanto-leather ) Tsunami was made in Seki-Japan, Tech-bowie doesnt say but it did come in the factory box while the tanto didn't... both knives measure up to their standard production counter-parts in size,weight, and shape the only thing diffrent is the blades (color). Do these sound like real SOG knives in special configz, or just very very detailed knock-offs... Are they the real deal or did i get ripped off?:confused:
 
Well sog does have special vers out there of knive agrussel carries a non sat flash 2 for example. If its only a dif in color shading and not a entirly diffrent color then it could just be a bad photo as well. If its suppose to be for example a dull finish blade and its a high polished it could be the company selling it decided to polish them up to give their customers somethign a little different seen that to a few times. As always im sure the local sog rep here on the forums will answer offically. One thing i love about blade forums all the various knife company reps here to answer our questions. And well why ill be getting a nice paid account here soon enough. Just got to get various stuff taken care of first.
