It is a 2000 Specwar, zero ground and mint. It has the checkered scales option on it, the clip side is only checkered above where the clip is and can only assume it is like this because it would make it very difficult to take out of your pocket otherwise and the other side is completely checkered. As an added bonus it has the very rare uncrushed emerson box. Will try and get some good pics of it for those interested. Price is 1700 shipped overnight.
TIA

Hang on, doesn't that mean it's a fake ! Tell you what, I'll take it off your hands for £20, and I'll even pay shipping ! :D

Seriously though, this sounds almost exactly like my one (John has a pic of it in the Gallery) but mine has the serrations as well. I'd like to see a pic of this one !

Question for all Suspects: How many Emersons of any model are known to have the hand checkered micarta scales? Just how rare is this feature? The only one I've heard of is an old 6 I saw depicted in a magazine years ago, supposedly Emerson's personal carry knife. Never seen or heard of one since.

The checkered option is extremely rare. Rare enough that I've only been luck enough to handle one CQC6 with this feature.

SOLD pending payment. Will repost if it falls thru.
Thanks to those that got in touch.
