Special D2 Runs?

Don't own a Swamp Rat, but I was certainly interested today when I took a look at the Safari Skinner in D2. And the Dog Skinner as well. I was getting geared up to order a Safari Skinner.

Alas, I look down the board only to read that D2 has been phased out. I was glad, however, to see that there might be some limited, special runs in D2.

How will one be able to find out about them (soon enough to actually get one)? Both knives look like winners, and I'd prefer the D2 steel.

Good question. I know a lot of Rats that are seeking these blades.

Best thing that I can tell you is to keep your eyes to these forums. Once in a while, the already released models will pop up in the exchange. They don't last long, so act quick! :thumbup:

As far as any future special runs...well, we are all waiting patiently for any announcements here and at the main forum. The special runs are announced at both of these forums and usually a time and date will be announced for their release. Again, act quick. The special runs only last a few minutes before they are all sold out.

I have learned that you will never know what will pop up for sale on the net tomorrow. Do not dispair.

Just keep in mind that when you have Rat money set aside, and something else becomes available that you might be interested in, you might want to jump on that right then.

Don't despair! I picked up my Desert Jack, D2 Bog Dog & Dog Skinner all on the secondary market. They do show up but ya gotta be fast. Also, consider putting a WTB up on the appropriate forum... That's how my lusted-after Desert Jack came my way
