Does anyone know if there is a special edition of the zt0300 with a skull on the blade? If so is this a collectors item or not. The skull is just in front of the stopping pin and on the titanium site. I can't show a picture :ssad:

I hope that someone can tell me more about it.

I am moving this to the General Knife Discussion since the knife is not a true custom, just a variant of the basic production model. I don't know who this particular model was made for.

If that is the knife your asking about it was a limited run made for an other forum.

I have no idea how collectable they are or where to get one now, I got that as a gift a few years ago.

Yes this one is the one i can buy i don't know how much it's worth is there anyone who knows the value of such a knife?

Is this a custom ZT or not, is the difference just the skull or are there more differences?

Not custom, just a factory ZT with a beadblast finish and a USN etch. They are not particularly collectable at this time. I have seen them go for $160 to $190 on many occasions in NIB condition or LNIB condition. The collectable ZT0300 knives that demand a premium are the battle swedged TAD special editions. Tim Galyean ground the swedges. They came in 3 combinations and often go in the $300 range.

The 3 TAD sewdged models were:
Green w/ bead blast blade- ZT0300CE
Desert Digicam and bead blast- ZT0300DW
CF and bead blast- (cant remember the model #)
